Card Craft

I have given up on the Kneadle-Craft and decided to try my hand at making greetings cards and other trinkets, like key-rings, fridge magnets etc.

Lack of Craft Shops

I don 't know if any of you have noticed by nearly all the small craft shops have disappeared from the High Streets and now if you want to by things you have to go to places like Focus or Rejects to buy your craft items, or go to another town where you know there is a dedicated craft shop, but this could be anything from 20 to 50 miles away, BRING BACK THE CRAFT SHOPS I SAY, WHAT SAY YOU????

Fluffy Scarfs

Has anyone bought the kit to knit their own fluffy scarf?, I bought a few last year and knitted several scarfs and bags and then I gave them to family as Christmas presents, when knitted they look brilliant until they were washed , they were no longer nice and fluffy. Has anyone had similar experiences with these home knit scarfs.

When was the first time you tried to knit something, like a cardigan for a baby. My first attempt was when I was expectant with my first child I thought it would be great to knit something on my own rather than have my mum do all the knitting for her. So decided to knit a first size cardigan for her, this thing was about four inches long but it took me six months to knit it, for a first attempt it was alright and knitting got easier after that now I cheat and do most of my knitting on a machine.
