When was the first time you tried to knit something, like a cardigan for a baby. My first attempt was when I was expectant with my first child I thought it would be great to knit something on my own rather than have my mum do all the knitting for her. So decided to knit a first size cardigan for her, this thing was about four inches long but it took me six months to knit it, for a first attempt it was alright and knitting got easier after that now I cheat and do most of my knitting on a machine.
